MacBidouille has posted some screenshots from a “anonymous source” that point towards the possibility of Quad Processor Intel Macs with Hyperthreading support.

“Without giving much details, those captures shows MacOSX x86 running on a 4 physical CPU-based MacIntel with Hyperthreading enable. One can clearly see 4 physical processors recognized while 8 logical processors are recorded by the CPU monitor.
So MacOSX can really manage without problem any MacIntel based on either physical or logical processors.”

Written by: Alex Brooks

As of recent World of Apple has received some more information relating to the 5th Generation iPod’s that were earlier pointed to by Appleinsider.

Expect the new iPods too be thinner than they currently are but no where near the size of the nano, the click wheel will be smaller to cater for a larger screen.

The line will be very much feature differentiated with some iPods including Video functionality and Wireless connections, as rumoured back in July Airport Express will be upgraded to allow video streaming and video out to a TV and the feature will be added to standard Airport base stations.

Expect capacities of 40GB, 60GB and the possibility of a 80GB model.

Our information points to a date of 11th October although Apple may wish to release earlier with October 7th being a possibility.
