Appleinsider is reporting that reliable sources are pointing towards the release of revised PowerBooks.
Think Secret has posted a report that includes details on Backup 3 and the upcoming .Mac Widgets.
Appleinsider is reporting that Apple is developing its own components for use in the iPod.
With rumours of the iPod Video high this may simply be a coincidence or a case of Apple protecting itself but on June 18, 2005 Apple Computer filed changes to its iPod Trademark;
Engadget is reporting that Apple are hiring ex and current Sony engineers to help with, “trouble playing catch up with the learning curve for designing using the Intel platform”.
This is supposedly in order to have an Intel based Powerbook out by next year, and Apple seem to think that hiring Sony engineers will put light on whatever problems they are having.
ifoAppleStore is reporting that Apple will begin to sell Apple branded merchandise in its retail stores.
“Expect to see golf shirts and balls, dress shirts, ties, socks, T-shirts, polos and other merchandise for sale at reasonable prices.”
Apple this week seeded Mac OS X 10.4.3 to developers. The build is 8F8 and is said to include over 40 bug fixes related to .Mac, AFP Server, Finder permissions and AppleScript.
According to rumours around the web the update is expected in September.
Everyone knows its almost inevitable but analysts still insist on showing off there powers of prediction.
Supposedly, I say that because this could be random rubbish but seems interesting anyway. Supposedly Sharp sales men have been bragging about a big customer for their SOC (system on chip).
Apple computer have been sending out invitations to special journalists inviting them to a special music event in Tokyo on August 4th. It expected that Apple will announce the release of the iTunes Music Store in Japan.
