Has anyone verified that adding 25 or more rules to Mail will not cause the Rules Window from extending off the bottom of the screen, hiding the control buttons?
This problem has existed since 10.4.0…. did not exist in 10.3.x

Not something I’ve heard Jim.

Yes, I noted but I didn’t send the feedback note. I will do it immediately.
Thanks for the reminder.

Sorry, to be better clear, the rules has the vertical slider but the rules editor has not, so that if you insert more than a certain number of conditions, depending on the screen size, you may not manage more than that.

Sorry again. The conditions/actions window for the rule has a vertical slider!
As ADC selected membership, I am on seed 10D573 but I don’t remember when the change was. In fact, this is the why I said that I noted. I avoided to create more than a certain number of conditions for the rule, because of that. I can, now.
I checked also that the actions for the rule may be a maximum of 11 and that when you also create new conditions, the window arrive to its maximum extent and the vertical slider appear but only for the conditions. Nice is that the automatic window resizing always get visible the buttons on the bottom.
I hope it helps,
Carmine

I’ve never heard about that. I counted 54 rules before I quit and I was barely half way down the list. Mail 4.2 (1077). SL 10.6.2. If you don’t have a vertical scroll bar when you make the rules list window short, it sounds more like a .plist or some other System corruption?

Any Apple Mail update for rules so that one can sort the list alphabetically ?

Since loading the update mail refuses to launch surely someone checked this before releasing as an update to users???????????????
Any ideas how to solve this??
