MacBook Pro Refresh Tomorrow, Core I7 Model Specs Leaked

French website Nowhere Else is reporting that Apple will release new MacBook Pro models tomorrow, a rumour that comes hot on the heels of a purported leak of a new MacBook Pro model on a benchmarking site.
Steve Hemmerstoffer for Nowhere Else writes that, “An anonymous source who works for Apple just tell me that the new MacBook Pro line will be launched tomorrow”.
A release tomorrow would coincide with the start of the first Apple-less Macworld Expo in San Francisco.
Over the weekend it was revealed that a GeekBench post could potentially refer to an unreleased MacBook Pro model, assuming it hasn’t been intentionally faked. The report posted on February 4, 2010 shows a MacBook Pro with a Core i7 M 620 clocked at 2.66GHz running an unreleased build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 scoring an impressive 5260.

I guess it’s time to list my MacBook Air on eBay. looking forward to a Core i5 MBA or MacBook Pro.
That’s why I sold my 17″ in November. I new Core2duo only had a few more months and I wanted to be ready to buy a new one and not lose resale value on the Core2.

Anyone speculate on how well will this run CS4? I do not currently have a Macbook Pro, but an iMac Core 2 Duo.
Thanks

Hey I’m a photographer, travel frequently with my with my work or I got the 13in macbook pro and I love it. I hook it up to an external HD 1920×1080 monitor and it works seamless with cs3 I jumped up to cs4 and it was so unresponsive. Even on the 17in mac book pro running with the 9600… needless to say I went back to cs3… CS4 is a waste til they figure out the bugs… All Photoshop’s have issues… but these i7’s are gonna be sweet.

Using an iMac i5, CS4 runs very fast.
ALthough i think the i5 & i7 chips are fast, I may hold on to my older MBA and 17″ MBP and see if Apple will introduce their A4 processor in these laptops.

Macstore back up – no new MBP.
A4 i 10th February 2010, 02.37 am
@msl90: the A4 is just an ARM-based System On a Chip, like you’d find in an alarm clock, digital picture frame or many other embedded devices. All ARM processors are a tiny fraction of the speed of even a Core2Duo, little known the i7. What we want is a Core i7 M670 (with 6250 support) based MBP with a much sturdier keyboard. Anyway, someone needs to castrate these roomer spreaders.

how’d that rumor work out for you? considering the writing of the rumor-monger — “An anonymous source who works for Apple just tell me that the …” — it’s no surprise it’s wrong.
tool.
