During today’s special event Apple executive Phil Schiller gave a demonstration of the new version of iWork built specifically for the iPad. All three applications, Keynote, Pages and Numbers have been reworked for the large multi-touch display and will be available for just $9.99 each.
“With Pages, Keynote and Numbers you can create beautifully formatted documents, stunning presentations with animations and transitions, and spreadsheets with charts, functions and formulas,” Apple said in a press release.
During the demo Schiller demonstrated dragging slides around in Keynote, inserting text into Pages using the virtual keyboard whilst describing it as “the most beautiful word processor you’ve ever used”.
The three apps will be available separately through the App Store for $9.99 each.

How do I print from these apps?
How can I connect Keynote to a projector?

The iPad page at apple.com says there will be projector attachments for the iPad.
I wondered about printing as well, and also thought about off device storage. At least with my MobileMe account and the accompanying iDisk APP I’ll be able to get to (and hopefully save to) my iDisk.

Andy & Scott,
These are very valid points, ones which I have asked myself. I was aware of the projector output (although no accessory is to be found) but printing, I dunno.
Add that to the unlikely event that there is on-device storage, so is it all cloud? Or controlled through the camera roll?
