The Apple Store in Frankfurt was due for its grand opening this weeked but ifoAppleStore is reporting via iFun.de that Apple has cancelled the opening and pushed it back to some time in January 2010.

Reasons for the delay are unknown but speculation points to some part of the construction not being complete in time.

Apple offered no explanation on the Apple Store Angaben website but stated that “We’re putting the finishing touches on the final touches.”
