I agree with Tom Valiulis – this bug started showing up when I installed 3.0 on the apple tv and the newest iTunes. Weird stuff!

The problem they may be referring to is one I just encountered with 3 of my 3 Apple TVs. When you quit iTunes and reopen it, you have to restart your Apple TV’s by unplugging them and replugging them back in (or hit the remote buttons Down and Menu simultaneously for 3 seconds). Otherwise, the Apple TV does not see the computer hosting the movies or music. It happens everytimw and it is a pain!
