Apple has once again given developers another build of Mac OS X 10.6.2, despite being on the cards for release for several weeks build 10C540 solves several issues but continues to contain no known issues.
Obscurely in this build Apple refers to an issue with “plugging and unplugging to an Apple TV”, the meaning of which is unknown to World of Apple but could refer to the new 27-inch iMac which allows video input.

The problem they may be referring to is one I just encountered with 3 of my 3 Apple TVs. When you quit iTunes and reopen it, you have to restart your Apple TV’s by unplugging them and replugging them back in (or hit the remote buttons Down and Menu simultaneously for 3 seconds). Otherwise, the Apple TV does not see the computer hosting the movies or music. It happens everytimw and it is a pain!

I agree with Tom Valiulis - this bug started showing up when I installed 3.0 on the apple tv and the newest iTunes. Weird stuff!
