will this fix the mouse stuttering issue when using a radeon 4870 with certain displays. I have contacted apple about this issue since upgrading my mac with the 4870 but they did not give me a clear response.

@ Andrew Jones,
From what I have read on other forums it seems Apple is going to update their ATi drivers to now take full advantage of OpenCL.

One can only assume that other issues, such as your mouse bug, will most likely be resolved as well.
Hope this helped

Still seems like they’re not resolving the issue with iTunes launching when pressing the play/pause function key (or the apple remote) while in other applications (e.g. Spotify). One would think that it should be quite an easy task to address..

@Frederik: Yes, they did.
In the Seed Notes from the earlier 10.6.2 build, Apple states:
IOHIDFamily: Access to IR Remote HID device fix
At least I hope that’s the fix.

@Chris: Sweet! I hope you’re right, it has been bugging me out for quite a while now.
Thanks for mentioning!

” an issue that prevented opening files downloaded from the Internet”
Great! It’s strange that DMG files all download with bad checksum errors unless I download them while connected to a VPN.
