Yesterday Apple made the latest update to Mac OS X Snow Leopard available to developers, the update pushed the operating system to build 10A421. In the last few builds very little has changed with Apple making minor tweaks to the performance and operation of Exposé and adjusting the Dock menus.
In the latest build Apple has added a whole slew of new Desktop Pictures as well as finally changing the QuickTime icon to the one Apple has been showing us. With this build Snow Leopard has gained further performance improvements and stability, suggesting that Apple may be closing in on a GM (Golden Master) build.
All of the Desktop Pictures included with Snow Leopard can be downloaded here (95.7MB zip).

In Applications screen shot: Little Snapper? What’s that? A new camera App looks like…

PIF,
LittleSnapper is a third party screenshot tool made RealMac Software.

Alex,
I hope that you realize the risks of your post. The developer, who was provided the Mac OS X Snow Leopard build, signed a non-disclosure agreement and paid Apple money for the privilege of receiving this pre-release software. Publishing images of and parts of the release are in direct violation of this NDA and are sufficient justification for the developer to be denied any future pre-releases of Apple software.

Another tiny tweak includes the blurring effect of the stacks on the background.

Get over it.

Agreed. Skip, unless you’re a lawyer for Apple, or a member of the thought or software police, nobody cares.

Risk? What risk? 1st of all, how would apple even begin to track who anyone is on a discussion forum they don’t control? 2nd, I would wager that most people who are posting here and other rumor website, myself included, got the OS from some “alternate channel.” I saw no non-disclosure agreement, nor did I agree to one. 3rd, we don’t care.

“how would apple even begin to track who anyone is on a discussion forum they don’t control?”
Apple can get more information than you think out of a screen shot, especially if the idiot taking it didn’t alter the size. Google “steganography”.
” I saw no non-disclosure agreement, nor did I agree to one.”
Then you have no license to use Apple’s property.

Apple might be able to get some information, but think about it, are they really going to go through all that effort? Probably not.
As for my lacking a license to use Snow Leopard, I know I don’t have a license for it. I don’t care. I’m going to use it until they release it, at which time I’m going to buy it.
All I was trying to say, is that nobody wants to hear anyone bitch, whine, moan or warn other people about the G.D. non-disclosure agreement.

I’ve heard that keyboard shortcuts to mark in and out points in QuickTime Player aren’t there! I find this feature in current QuickTime Player Pro really, really useful. I hope Apple restores this feature before releasing Snow Leopard.

Let’s calm down people. This is not the place to discuss the legalities of posting this information.
