Apple Details Snow Leopard “Up-to-Date” Program

Apple has today posted details of the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Up-to-Date program aimed at customers who purchase a Mac after June 8th, 2009. The program will allow those customers to upgrade from Mac OS X Leopard to Snow Leopard for a nominal fee of $9.95 plus tax (£7.95).
Apple lists qualifying Macs both new and refurbished which will qualify for the up-to-date program if purchased after June 8th, 2009. The program requires qualifying customers to return forms postmarked or faxed within 90 days of the date of your purchase of a qualifying computer or by December 26, 2009, whichever is earlier.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard is expected to ship in September 2009.
