So much for super-source insider information. I sometimes think when rumor sites speculates on OS X delivery dates, Apple deliberately delays a day or two.
I need this update for my Apple 4870 GPU and this delay is beginning to get more than a little annoying.

No wine before it's time? This really points to the fact they really don't want to do 10.5.8... If you think about it, looking back at the releases: 10.0.4, 10.1.5, 10.2.8, 10.3.9, 10.4.11 -- that 3rd number has been steadily creeping upwards and I think they want to reverse that trend. So they want to get 10.5.7 as "right" as possible (and that in itself is very subjective, e.g. Rixstep rants on OS X design issues)... anyway NSURLConnection compatibility fix is a Good Thingâ„¢
