They’ll eventually push the app store’s success to the Mac when there’s a good reason to get Mac applications made with the SDK. Once Apple has given the Mac an exclusive UI, users are going to want apps that take advantage of the UI. The UI being not only a certain look, but also a new feel–in the interactive sense. Right now a Mac app store seems impractical; but once Apple instills it’s users with incentive, it will be extend it’s success from the iPhone to the Mac–which has always been Apple’s most prized franchise.
