Macworld Conference and Expo has already been the subject of controversy this year when Apple announced that it would no longer be attending as either an exhibitor or key star, now it appears that IDG is making extra effort to ensure that the last remaining Mac trade-show stays alive.
Despite initially announcing January based dates for Macworld Conference and Expo 2010 IDG has today announced that the show will take place between February 9 – 13, 2010.
Macworld is also taking on a twist next year with a portion of the Expo taking place over part of a weekend, a first in the shows history.
As we began the planning process for 2010, the Mac community – exhibitors, attendees, media and fans of the show – made it clear that February would be a more ideal time to hold the event, so we listened. The Conference programs are scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday, February 9 – 13 and the Expo will be held Thursday through Saturday, February 11-13th.
