AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is preparing to unveil a new look for Snow Leopard in the near future. According to the rumour site previous seeds of Mac OS X Snow Leopard have been devoid of “several features” including a major change to the user interface (UI).

AppleInsider does not pinpoint a particular timeframe for the unveiling and also adds that details of the new “Marble” look are sparse.

Finally AppleInsider states that Apple will likely use WWDC 2009 as a platform to preview Snow Leopard and those familiar with the matter say that Apple will need a further two months to “fine tune” the operating system; suggesting a retail launch of August/September.
