Over the weekend Apple’s online store began showing a “Discontinued” status, a sign that an updated model could be in the pipeline.

Despite being apparently discontinued since Saturday several readers have reported to World of Apple that they were successful in adding the product to their shopping carts.
The iPhone Bluetooth headset was introduced with the original iPhone in June 2007 and received a price drop with the release of the iPhone 3G.

Worst headset I owned and also the worst Apple product I’ve had the misfortune to own in 25 years. Weak volunme, battery life was very short and affected the volunme as the battery became weaker. Had three of these, one on a warranty claim and bought a third hoping it was was my bad luck….Nope, below average product and below the quality usually associated with Apple Inc.
