Macworld 2009 has begun in San Francisco and now the initial parties have subsided it is time for the keynote presentation. As always World of Apple is on the scene though our focus has changed from previous years.

For the past four years we’ve attempted to cover the keynote live, with mixed success it must be said. This year we’re making no attempt at all, World of Apple will be at the keynote but we’ll be taking photos. So look out for a gallery of fantastic photographs just after the keynote.

In addition as the week progresses we’re going to attempt to cover more third party news than we have in the past, we already know that there is a lot of buzz about iPhone apps here at Macworld so we’ll be checking them out.

Finally two Apple related movies are being premiered this week, World of Apple got an exclusive viewing of “Welcome to Macintosh” this evening and “MacHeads” will be showing later in the week. We intend to offer some reviews of both these films.

For further information on what it is going down socially at Macworld, Macworld Bound is definitely a blog worth checking out and you can follow me on Twitter as well as Adam Jackson.

Hope you enjoy your Macworld week as much as we will and happy reading.
