Last week we delivered our annual extensive rumour roundup ahead of the 2009 Macworld Expo, frankly it was a little premature as the last few days have presented themselves as very busy for rumours.

The initial roundup article is worth reading as it is still reasonable accurate but here what’s new and what has changed in quick bullet form fashion.

  • 9 to 5 Mac now believes that the 17-inch MacBook Pro will have a removable battery despite initially reporting that it wouldn’t.
  • Although unsure whether it will arrive at Macworld, 9 to 5 Mac is also reporting that Time Capsule will receive a software update that will allow it to cache software updates for Macs on the network.
  • AppleInsider suggests that the Mac mini which is the most certain hardware update will receive a FireWire 800 port and an additional USB port.
  • TUAW suggests that AT&T will announce iPhone-as-modem tethering plans during Macworld week.
