As expected more sources are confirming that the 17-inch MacBook Pro will receive a unibody enclosure and be released at Macworld. Interestingly 9 to 5 Mac is stating that the 17-inch MacBook Pro will have a non-removable battery, Mac Rumors has corroborated the report.
The advantage of a sealed battery similar to that of the MacBook Air would be that the enclosure can be very thin and could also be a very high capacity battery.
AppleInsider speculates that increased battery life could be accomplished with silver-zinc batteries.
