AppleInsider is reporting that the rumoured update to the Mac mini will bring dual display support via a Mini DisplayPort connector and a Mini DVI connector.
Previous models of the Mac mini featured a single-DVI connector which due to the graphics card did not support dual displays.
With the rumours that the Mac mini will now receive considerably improved graphics cards the new report is not surprising.
AppleInsider also partly concurs with a report from TUAW in which the site reported that the optical drive will be able to be replaced with a second hard drive via a build-to-order option. AppleInsider adds that TUAW’s description of a black and aluminium case design are inaccurate.
The Mac mini is expected to be launched at Macworld 2009 which kicks off with Apple’s keynote presentation on Tuesday January 5th.
