TechCrunch reports that “three independent sources” have disclosed information about a large screen iPod which is expected from Apple in “Fall of ‘09″.

The large screen iPod touch device is expected to pack a 7 or 9 inch display and will reportedly work with applications available from the App Store.

One of TechCruch’s sources has purportedly handled the device additionally reporting that Apple is in talks with OEMs in Asia about mass production of the device.

Rumours of large screen tablet type devices have been rumoured in the past by historically accurate sources.
