Earlier in the week it was reported that the French Competition Council had ruled that Apple and French telecoms company Orange must immediately cease its exclusive relationship.
Macworld UK has now received word from Alan Hely Apple’s chief European spokesman who said, “Apple is deeply disappointed by the council’s decision.”
Adding, “Our partnership with Orange has enabled us to deliver unprecedented value to French consumers.”
