It is being reported by numerous blogs that the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks from Apple are having some troubles when maxed out with 4GB of RAM. The issues which was initially believed to be caused by third-party RAM has now been proven to also prevail with Apple RAM installed.

A report from jkOnTheRun covers the issue in detail which effectively causes systems to freeze regularly when 4GB of RAM is installed.
The issue can be rectified by rolling back to a lesser amount of RAM.
It is also being reported today by The Inquirer that the new MacBook Pro’s NVIDIA 9600M GPU can cause issues such as blank screens and other video errors. The report does not state whether all MacBook Pro’s with NVIDIA GPUs are affected or whether it is a specific batch.
