Apple Offers Millions in Bonuses to Execs

Apple this week presented its executives with a selection of restricted stock hand-outs. The grants of more than $122 million were revealed via filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Apple Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook was awarded 200,000 shares ($21,052,000), and Senior Vice President Retail, Ron Johnson, and Chief Financial Officer, Peter Oppenheimer, were each granted 150,000 shares ($15,789,000)
Five other executives were each granted 120,000 shares ($12,631,200) including Senior Vice President Industrial Design, Jonathan Ive, Senior Vice President Worldwide Product Marketing, Phil Schiller, Senior Vice President Software Engineering, Bertrand Serlet, Senior Vice President Mac Hardware Engineering, Bob Mansfield and Senior Vice President iPhone Software, Scott Forstall.
Finally Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Daniel Cooperman who has been with the company just over a year was granted 60,000 shares ($6,315,600).
The stock options will vest on March 24, 2012.
