Apple has begun to allow users to sign up for AT&T service online before visiting an Apple store.
The online tool allows a would-be iPhone purchaser to:
- 1. Enter your billing information.
- 2. Review eligibility and pricing.
- 3. Select your AT&T rate plan.
Once complete the purchaser would simply head over to an Apple store to complete the iPhone purchase. Despite rumours, an iPhone continues to require in-store activation and cannot be activated at home.
