OpenTech, a contender in the Mac clone wars, is shutting its virtual doors and offering the business for sale for $50,000.00. Perhaps they saw the brutal demands made by Apple against Psystar and decided that they really didn’t want to play with the big boys in the sandbox. If that is the case (which is sheer conjecture on my part), one would assume that OpenTech obtained legal counsel to assist in this decision who advised that they might be the next shrimp on the barbie. Now if my two absolute conjectures are correct, that doesn’t bode well for Psystar who are doing far more than OpenTech who didn’t even install OS X, but sold machines that were capable of running it.

Then again considering that OpenTech was hosted on freewebs.com, a lawyer might have been out of their budget.
