It is being rumoured that the next generation of MacBook will be thinner than the current MacBook and MacBook Pro designs and will also include a glass trackpad and support multi-touch and the use of gestures.
The MacBook is also said to be made of one single piece of aluminium and will bear some resemblance to the MacBook Air.
Finally Seth Weintraub of ComputerWorld writes that he expects the new MacBook to be released in September.

I don’t know whether to get a free ipod touch now with a current gen macbook because it is such a good deal or wait for the new macbooks to come around. Will the prices be the same or will they cost more? How much better will the new ones really be? Personally I think either way and it will be a good choice. I know how awesome the ipod touches are so getting one for free basically would be ultra-awesome. On the other hand, a newly redesigned macbook could be the way to go. Each day I change my opinion on what to do. I know it’s not such a big deal but it’s so fun!!! Decisions, decisions.
