Yesterdays iPhone firmware update contained some key components that point towards the likely release of the iPhone in the geographic locations of Ireland and Austria.
Italian site Maccitynet took a quick peek into the latest update and discovered two packages designed to allow the iPhone to work on O2 in Ireland and T-Mobile in Austria.
No official word of an O2 Ireland release has been recieved from either O2 or Apple but T-Mobile Austria product development chief Hamid Akhavan has mentioned that T-Mobile will begin selling the iPhone in Austria in the first-half of 2008.
