Both Mac Rumors and Think Secret are reporting that the MacBook could see an update as early as October 30th although Think Secret believes that it could be pushed back to November 6th.

Think Secret originally pointed towards the update in early October, at the time writing that the new MacBooks would be in consumers hands in the first-half of November, “if not before.”

Little is divulged for either rumour site, however Mac Rumors points towards an image that shows that Leopard brought with it drivers for the newer Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics chip. The driver is said to be in perfect working order.

Speculation and an element of guess work would point towards the MacBook featuring Santa Rosa chipsets as the X3100 is a major part of the platform.
