Think Secret reports that Apple is set to introduce updated Macbook notebooks following the release of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard which is rumoured to be due on October 26th.

The rumour site writes that the update MacBooks could be in the hands of consumers in the first half of November “if not before.”

Sources has disclosed to Think Secret that the MacBook update will mirror that from last November where the low-end Apple notebook received a minor speed bump.

The site is unsure whether the site will adopt the Santa Rosa platform which came to the MacBook Pro earlier this year. Nor is the site sure what speeds will meet the new MacBook.
