Apple has released a plethora of updates this evening, including the first update for the iPhone.
Security Update 2007-007
Apple has released Security Update 2007-007 for the following operating systems:
- 10.3.9 Client
- 10.3.9 Server
- 10.4.10 PPC Client
- 10.4.10 PPC Server
- 10.4.10 Universal Client
- 10.4.10 Universal Server
Security Update 2007-007 is recommended for all servers and improves the security of the following components:
- bzip2
- CFNetwork
- Core Audio
- cscope
- gnuzip
- Kerberos
- mDNSResponder
- PDFKit
- PHP
- Quartz Composer
- samba
- SquirrelMail
- Tomcat
- WebKit
- WebCore
iPhone Update 1.0.1
iTunes is also notifying iPhone users that their iPhone is out of date and can be updated to version 1.0.1.
The update appears to introduce no extra functionality and is described as containing “bug fixes.”
Safari 3 Beta Update
For those running Safari 3 Beta, Apple has released an update for both the Windows and Mac versions.
