Think Secret pinpoints Tuesday August 7th as the date for the release of the long-rumoured iMac revision as well as the release of iLife ‘07.
Multiple sources have said Apple’s highly anticipated iMac revision is expected in the first week of August. The revamped iMac will represent the first substantial upgrade to the system since it initially adopted Intel processors in January 2006, and will sport an entirely new brushed aluminum enclosure.
[Updated - 18/7/2007 - 00.00 BST] - 9to5mac.com has also posted August 7th as the release date for the iMac revision. The site also claims that new iPods could be released on the same day.
Contrary to many reports 9to5mac.com reports that Apple will release a new 17-inch iMac along with 20- and 24-inch. The enclosure is said to be metal and “razor thin.” The new iMacs will reportedly ship with a new keyboard with built-in media functionality.
The site also claims that new video iPods will be released on August 7, they will reportedly be shorter and wider but still contain a traditional click wheel as opposed to a touch-screen.
