In an exclusive discovery World of Apple has noticed a reference to The Beatles artist pages on the iTunes Store UK store.
While inadvertently searching for a song I was redirected via a link in an album synopsis to a page that searched for “The Beatles”, in the artist panel on the side a non-working link to The Beatles appeared.
Edit: Here is the URL that the link points to, it currently redirects to the search results.

Old news. Check out the Canadian store. It’s there and available for sale. It’s listed as “The Beatles with Tony Sheridan” but it should really be “Tony Sheridan with The Beatles”
See http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=136998&s=143455 for more info.

Actually the Beatles have been there for quite sometime, in the form of an early album from Tony Sheridan, which is probably what you’re seeing in that search.
