Think Secret is keen to knock customers hoping to receive a new model of the 17-inch MacBook Pro featuring a high-definition display.
The site reports that the forthcoming MacBook Pro upgrade will not feature a new display.
Back in 2005 a PowerBook G4 revised manual accidentally made its way onto the internet and listed a display resolution of 1920×1200, when the PoweBook was updated the manual did not show this revision and nor did the PowerBook.
Ever since that time the display on the 17-inch model has remained at a resolution of 1920×1200.
Think Secret predicts that consumers waiting for a high resolution display could be waiting until 2008.
