Mac OS X 10.4.10, Promised Audio Fix

AppleInsider reports that pre-release versions of Mac OS X 10.4.10 have begun making the rounds in Cupertino.
The report states that Apple hopes to stabilise the release so that it can seed the software to thousands of ADC members, Apple hopes to do this as early as next week.
Specific details on the update are unknown but many users are reporting that Mac OS X 10.4.9 forced the audio levels to become excessively high. Apple claims that the problem with be fixed in a “forthcoming update.”
Mac OS X 10.4 last was last updated in March.

Does anyone know if the V1.1 for 10.4.10 fixes the Airport and kernel crash problem on the Intel MacBook Pro duo-core? The kernel crash only happens when on battery power. According to Mac version tracker, almost 37% of people who updated to 10.4.10 had major problems.
