Cingular Wireless the mobile sector of AT&T has revealed that it has received about 1 million requests for information regarding the Apple iPhone.

“One million people have asked us to call when this phone is available,” said AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson in a speech at the CTIA wireless technology conference.
