Many customers who purchased an Apple TV are reporting that their credit cards have been charged by Apple and that online tracking pages are showing “ready for shipping.”
Apple TV shipping dates were announced back in early January at MacWorld 2007, originally the unit was set to ship in February but this then slipped to “mid-March.”
[Update 20 March 2007, 08.30 GMT] - World of Apple is now receiving reports that Apple TV shipping estimates have changed from 20-March to the 29-March, we’ve had several reports of this, one specific report was from Australia.

I have heard everyone is getting billed, but no one has received one yet.
Haven’t seen any opening the box or set-ups either.
I believe also that it is illegal to charge credit card and not ship in 24hrs of the charge.
