Beatles Not Exclusive to iTunes
A FoxNews.com story points towards some confirmation that the Beatles will be offering their music for download in the very near future but not exclusively via iTunes.
Neil Aspinall, head of Apple Corps Ltd. has confirmed that all 13 core Beatles albums have been digitally remastered and will be made available for download.
Of interest the article mentions something that wasn’t originally revealed when the Apple vs Apple verdict was announced.
The Beatles, sources say (and not Aspinall, whom I didn’t even discuss this with), may have won royalties on Apple iTunes/iPod hardware as part of the settlement.
Apple Confirms Apple TV Shipping in February
An Apple spokeswoman has spoken to vnunet.com concerning the recent rumours that Apple TV would not be shipping until March.
The spokeswoman said “business as usual” for Apple TV. “We are still planning to release Apple TV in February as announced,”
Think Secret originally broke the rumour last week.
