10.5, iLife and iWork ‘07 Coming in March?

Think Secret writes in a report that sources have disclosed information concerning the widely anticipated release of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and iLife/iWork ‘07.

The site confirms that iLife and iWork ‘07 will ship alongside 10.5 and the applications will contain expanded feature sets dependent on Mac OS X 10.5, but details on whether Apple is ruling out compatibility with previous operating systems is unknown.

Throughout 2006 Apple had reportedly planned to release iLife and iWork ‘07 at Macworld Expo in January, but with worries over the quality of the applications this plan was later axed.

In particular the new software suites are said to take advantage of Apple’s Core Animation technologies that are built into Mac OS X 10.5.

Sources state to Think Secret that a release could be as soon as March.
