Full Video iPod and Mac tablet?
MacScoop claims that reliable sources have disclosed information in reference to a “true widescreen video iPod and a Mac tablet.
The site states that the widescreen video iPod is in the final stages of development and will feature a display similar to that of the iPhone incorporating Multi-Touch technologies. The iPod will feature a 80GB or 100GB hard drive.
The device is expected to be marketed using the term “Touch your music” and is said to debut before June.
The site also lays claim to the existence of a Mac tablet expected to hit the market in 2008.
Current details of the tablet are rare but MacScoop claims the device will feature Multi-Touch and wireless connectivity and be aimed at the Education and Research sectors.
Logic 8 Coming Today?
Today marks the first day of NAMM, the largest music product show in the world.
It is widely expected that Apple will hold a press conference later today when the event kicks off in Anaheim California to officially launch the successor to Logic 7.
The last major update to Logic was back in February 2006 when Apple launched a slightly updated Universal Binary of the application.
Apple has confirmed that it will be attending the trade show but has refused to comment on whether it will hold a press conference.
