Fox Movies on iTunes Store
News Corp., has stated that it is in talks with Apple to begin distribution of Fox Movies on the iTunes Store.
Peter Chernin, President and CEO of News Corp. mentioned the talks with Apple during a conference call on Wednesday, no time frame was given but Chernin mentioned that Fox and Apple were having “positive talks.”
‘Get a Mac’ Ads Lose Justin Long
Radar Online reports that Justin Long will no longer star as ‘Mac’ in Apple’s ‘Get a Mac’ TV adverts.
There is no apparent indication on why Justin is no longer taking part in the adverts but it looks like he may have already been replaced with the original advert Director, Phil Morrison.
Apple Testing Updated Backup?
TUAW claims to have been informed via a tipster that Apple is about to begin seeding an update for its Backup application to select testers.
The testers appear to be select users who will be invited to take part in the AppleSeed program.
No details were supplied about improvements.
Apple Offers Gift Wrapping
Apple has begun offering a gift wrapping service for iPods bought on its online store.
The wrapping which varies in pricing and style can be found via the Apple online store.
