It has been noted on the Mac Rumors forums that in a recent update to a Developers PDF, Apple has made mention of a “touch-screen” iPod.

The update appears to have been made on the 17 October this year, it is currently unknown whether the error is a typo of “touch-wheel” or is a slip-up on Apples behalf.
