Hmmm, just in time for my next MacBook Pro. However, whatever they do I hope they don’t change a thing with the keyboard, as MBP one is the best thing since sliced bread.

i have to disagree with mark. while i love my 17″ powerbook, i just couldn’t bring myself to spring for the (already released) macbook pro — because it looks essentially the same as the PBG4! yeah, i know it screams under the hood and has the magsafe connector, etc., but it’s like buying a new car: if you’re gonna spend the money, you want it to *look* like you have a new car — not just a new engine inside.
meanwhile, the new keyboard on the regular macbooks is a thing of real beauty — and i personally hope the macbook pro follows suit. give the macbook pro a fresh, new enclosure and keyboard — and i’m sold.
