Think Secret is reporting that Apple has let the majority of its Aperture development team move onto to separate projects.

The report claims that the development of said application was a “mess” and the worse they had witnessed from Apple, it is even reported that the development of the image processing pipeline was given to the Shake and Motion team “to fix as best they can”. Thus delaying the release of Aperture 1.1.

It is unknown what the future prospects are for Aperture.
