Speculation has built over the Easter Weekend about the release of the long rumoured MacBook on the eve of Apple’s Q2 Financial Results Call which will take place on April 19th.

The MacBook has been rumoured ever since the release of the MacBook Pro back in January, in fact the product is so prevalent in the World of Apple right now that the use of the term MacBook has become synonymous with iBook.

The rumour that an upcoming portable from Apple would feature a 13.3″ display has been circulating since before the end of 2005 and ever since that time and furthered by the release of the MacBook Pro the momentum of the MacBook has grown. Recent rumours pointed towards the Mac mini as a good set of features that could be placed in the MacBook.
