Analyst – No Media Event Around April 1st

UBS analysts have claimed that Apple will be unlikely to hold a Special Event for its 30th anniversary. Although other analysts, members of the media and the mac enthusiasts are hyping up a possible event this is very much against the grain.
The analysts go on the predict future products including Intel based iBooks and a larger MacBook Pro and also mentioned the illusive video iPod.
“We forecast Mac units to improve in fiscal third quarter of 2006 (June) to -1 percent year over year from -9 percent year over year in the second quarter of 2006 (March). We still believe that a new video iPod, download service & new iPods are coming this year by the fall.”
Disclaimer – WOA does not support the views of analysts, they clearly get paid to say what we’re all thinking. We write the news because its almost relevant.

The analysts said that the new iBook/Mac Book will be released without a media event. That is not the same as no media event around April 1.

Paul,
From the information WOA received it came across that the analysts were putting down the idea of any event, if you can find a source with the opposite view please let us know.

Andy, for some reason these people get paid to say what they’re thinking as well as being hysterically monitored by the worlds press.
