AppleInsider is reporting that Apple has begun testing of the next update to Mac OS X, this will be the fifth update to Tiger within a year.
Details are slim right now but it appears the area of focus will be Safari, Core Graphics applications, Mac OS X Dock and Quartz Composer.
It’s quite possibly this update may coincide with the release of MacBook Pro’s.

I wonder what changes are going into the dock? Sounds interesting. And do you think quartz 2D extreme will be enabled?

Oh PLEASE I hope they fix a long-standing bug in Mail.app. If you are set to Rich Text format and send an attachment to a Windows user, they get random question marks all over the message. I know, Plain Text is more secure, but a bug is a bug and it needs to be fixed.
Fingers crossed!

Thank goodness. Has anyone seen the number of problems in the discussions section of Apples website about 10.4.4? It’s crazy.
I’m having trouble with internet connection in general since 10.4.4 but there have been loads of problems…
