eMagin Corp is a company that currently makes wearable display units for the military but it appears the focus maybe moving over to the industry, in particular video iPods.

The company has developed a unit for the video iPod, the video appears in front of the users and gives the impression of a 105 inch display from 12 feet away.
“Suddenly you’ve got this big-screen, movie-screen, home-theater experience, wherever you are,” said Gary Jones, eMagin’s president and CEO.

Not sure about this. If you wore it walking down the street you’d look like those things in star trek, and you’d keep walking into things. And what’re you supposed to do with your other eye?
