Macobserver has today reported that some research shows Apple to be releasing some major new products at Apple Expo Paris this September.
The report states;
“We believe that Apple is preparing new G5 PowerMacs based on IBM’s dual-core 970 PPC, G5 Mac Minis based on a new IBM low-power processor, and new G4 PowerBooks based on next generation processors from Freescale Semiconductors.”
This could be pure speculation but based on announcments recently from IBM concerning the Dual Core 970MP this rumour is quite possible, as Steve said “there are plenty of great PPC products in the pipeline”.
