Appleinsider is reporting that the 4GB iPod Mini and the current wired optical mouse will reach end of life status by the end of the month.
Resellers are reporting difficulties in receiving stock of the products, and the $29 mouse has been removed from Apple’s Online stores. It is not known whether the mouse will continue to ship with new Macs.
Steve Jobs is expected to release a revision of the iPod Mini in late September at Apple Expo in Paris, recently both Hitachi and Seagate announced 8GB 1 inch drives, so these could be the new top line of iPod Minis.
